I've never really had time to get depressed about finishing because of those dang edits. I DO find it difficult to jump right into another story, though it is necessary if you write slowly like I do.Kimber Chinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13658012405712901099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-12626041707870527542010-03-17T22:01:22.595-04:002010-03-17T22:01:22.595-04:00Happy St. Pat's day. I procrastinate pressing send for days, if I have the time. The hurt locker guy - too freaking tired to check) and Affleck was interviewing him - it was great. But Jeremy said he partied like crazy upon his Oscar nomination and then, the depression set in - I think it's totally chemical. Things like painting a room which explains a lot about what my house looks like.Eileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09803986849921870941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-2323364866210312132010-03-17T18:37:44.823-04:002010-03-17T18:37:44.823-04:00All I wanted to do was complete my first draft...a...All I wanted to do was complete my first draft...and then I did. My husband wanted to celebrate; I wanted to cry. I have no idea why I do this - look forward to something for so long and then become saddened once I've achieved it. Of course, I don't have a book deal and am sick of getting beaten up with rejections (although I've only received 3 - I know I've got a lot more in my future). But it's great to hear from published writers saying something similar. Maybe I'm not so weird after all, so thanks.Subourbon Wifehttp://subourbonwife.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-85812536615040528592010-03-17T18:26:32.518-04:002010-03-17T18:26:32.518-04:00Sadly, I already have my revision letter...
