Better even than Deadwood, and I cried when that ended. Omar is amazing, Bubbles, Michael, Duquan--so, so many incredible characters. And it just gets better and better.Megan Framptonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17196738392230684978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-17610696267956461872009-01-12T15:36:00.000-05:002009-01-12T15:36:00.000-05:00Bubbles gets better. If you are reading this blog and you write - to me the WIRE is a must to understand how to create a character who is not fully good or fully bad.

You root for both the heros and the villans in this show equally as hard. It was so disconcerting to watch these gang/drug/violent people and think... I hope it really turns out for these guys... and then I was like no, no this wrong.

And did I say season 2? Season 4 is also my favorite.

Season 2 and Season 4. And Season and 3 and 1. Yep... all those are my favorite.

On a completely side note... The Brotherhood Book - excellent! Thank you for recommending. Understanding JR Ward and the process good stuff. The webstuff I skipped but her personal take on each book was great insight.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-56704221553264705722009-01-12T14:21:00.000-05:002009-01-12T14:21:00.000-05:00Steph - first I thought, for some reason you were ...Steph - first I thought, for some reason you were talking about Bubbles being the best written character ever and I was like...yeah, he was great. And then I realized who you were really talking about and it's like -- RIGHT! He was GREAT! Not a badly written character in the whole thing. But Omar - yes, amazing. And the cast. I thought Bubbles was the most well acted character -- just so bittersweet and sad. If you haven't watched this show and you're a writer -- Listen to Steph! So excited about the second season - we're starting it tonight!!!Molly O'Keefehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15171236688541657736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-56041914986490950592009-01-12T12:14:00.000-05:002009-01-12T12:14:00.000-05:00FINALLY!!!! I told you you would love this. Althou...FINALLY!!!! I told you you would love this. Although this means I have to go and find a way to watch Friday Night Lights from the beginning.

One word: Omar. Best written character ever.

And the speeches just get better. The only let down was the last season. If I had to do it all over again I would stop at 4.

Season 2 was my favorite.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29864506.post-75111230231885928252009-01-12T11:29:00.000-05:002009-01-12T11:29:00.000-05:00I've had this on my list from the DVD rental peopl...I've had this on my list from the DVD rental people FOREVER and they never send it to me.
